James Joseph Valiyakulathil, a filmmaker from Kerala, India, began his career with a degree in film editing from the Film and Television Institute of India. He has since gained extensive experience editing award-winning films, documentaries, and TV series. Currently based in Canada, James is pursuing an MFA in film production at Ohio University. His first-year project, "Man in the Orange Jacket," underscores his commitment to storytelling. James's work delves into slow cinema and neo-realism, exploring themes such as loneliness, immigration, and racial tensions.
