In a panic, she contacts Angel, her daughter who resides in the city, and pleads for her to come home. Angel finds herself standing in front of her childhood home. Mother and daughter attempt to keep things respectful, but soon after the colors of their strained relationship start to show. Will they reconcile?

Director - Yana Peña Durado
Yana Durado is a Filipina currently based in Athens, OH. She is a video producer, motion designer, and social media manager that has collaborated in various projects internationally. Most of her works are commercial and entertainment based, including the Taste of Parkersburg advertisement that won a 2022 Telly Award, as well as work she’s made with the Miss Universe Organization in New York City. She obtained her bachelor’s at Ohio University in 2021 majoring in Integrated Media Production, and now she’s returned to pursue an MFA in Film. She embarks this journey of filmmaking to refine her craft, but also hopes to tell stories that give voice to underrepresented groups.
